In 1998, Design
Center West moved into the retail interior
design market with the opening of their retail showroom,
“Your Home Expressions”
Featuring: Furniture, home décor
items, custom floral design and residential interior design
services, builder design center.
In 1999, Kassie
Smith, owner and president of Design
Center West, started her consulting career.
Ms. Smith worked four years for The City of Henderson as
a consultant on many projects including the 214,000 sq.
ft. City Hall expansion project, handling all FF&E and
establishing the six million dollar furnishing budget. She
has acted as a speaker and consultant on other projects
and her areas of expertise are as follows:
